The New David Fincher Film!

The Trailer of David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (in Spanish!). Here is the link to the original story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I have not read it yet, just bookmarking it here. By the way, anybody knows which music is this? It sounds familiar but can't remember where I heard it before.

hey thanks! Guess, I should look around a bit before asking everybody :)

Had never heard of his name... its a wonderful piece, there is a longer version too.

I think the reason why it sounds familiar is because quite often music in movies is 'inspired' by classical music. I believe that normal people would enjoy classical music if they stopped looking at it as 'classical' music and just as music.
But that's on a tangent. Yeah, is it a really nice piece.

that's true. In fact, one comment on the youtube page says that Nokia used it for one of their ringtones... may be that's where I heard it!!

Are you a Malick fan? The Saint-Saens music is used prominently in Days of Heaven.

Thanks for the tip! I really love Badlands and Days of Heaven but rather embarrassingly somehow don't remember the score exactly right now... Next time when I see it i will pay more attention.

i thought the trailer was terribly cut - so one the beat, like someone had marked it off beforehand it it was only a matter of filling up the space.

it is more of a teaser or "first look" - not really a trailer. also no idea what the Spanish lines mean. whatever unity and coherence it has comes from the music... lets wait for the real trailer... meanwhile you can check the kick-ass trailers of Fight Club and Zodiac
