Improving My LQ* In the New Year
Just a test post to see if it works exactly as it did in the last year! :)
Okay, now that it works....
The New York Times has published a nice selection of reviews of literary biographies from their recent archives.
I haven't read any of these yet but I plan to read about The Bronte Sisters, Dostoevsky, Byron, Kafka, Nietzsche and Wordsworth (I actually don't know much about other people in the list!). Nice mental exercise specially given that I am not going to read any of the books mentioned in the review. Okay, just a public bookmark.

I seem to have missed this, so thanks for putting up the links. I have not read any of them, but as far as Nitezsche is concerned, I have chucked several biographies half-finished. The only one that I really liked enough to finish, and would highly recommend, is Rudiger Safranski's "Nietzsche : A Philosophical Biography". By far, the best book on Nietzsche out there, in my opinion.
I haven't read any Nietzsche biography so far. Heck, I haven't even read much of Nietzsche so to speak :(
Thanks for pointing this out though. Will be on a look out for this one...
