David Lynch News Alert

David Lynch will receive an honorary Golden Lion this year at the Venice film festival. His latest film Inland Empire will also be premiered there.

The Guardian has a small news report about this here.

This is his first film shot entirely on video and he has said that it will be an experimental and non-narrative film. Ahem...

"experimental and non-narrative film"

Would have guessed from the title, no? Inland Empire.....do I really want to see what his looks like? :)

Hehe... what amused me was that it was Lynch saying that it will be a non-narrative film. As if his other films make any sense from a narrative point of view! :)

Yeah, but I want to know if there are evil dwarves in the film and more importantly, a lesbian sequence?

VB: imagine a Syd Barrett biopic directed by David Lynch :))
